An interesting perspective from the Native American Indian, who were a very spiritual people and in tune with their environment. This is even biblical, if you consider their view carefully. Genesis 2:7 “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”
I have always been interested in the Native American culture & spirituality. Argue either way you choose, you cannot deny the ideology put forth that our bodies came from the earth, originally. Also, consider the science of it…broken down to the smallest atom, we are all made of the same material that makes up the ground, the air, the water, your house, etc.
I do not believe any one religion, or religious group, has all of the answers. I do believe that all of the religions have a piece of the puzzle to life. Unfortunately, we (people) confound it all with dogma, doctrine, indoctrination, and misinterpretation; thereby, causing factions and divisions among us all. Quite similar to the confounding of man’s language at the Tower of Babel.
This REALLY hits home with me. No matter how much I may accomplish, I can always do more…if it weren’t for my lazy behavior, lack of energy, insomnia, lack of focus & drive, and the television that keeps calling my name. Try as I may and pray, I continue to fall into the same trap(s), but I move forward with the desire to change because complacency will not help me attain my goals & dreams.
